I'm trying to make a champions league football/soccer/whatever you fancy video for youtube, and I want to use some HD videos that I found from there. The only thing is that with every program I use, the only high quality file extension available is mp4. It's my understanding that youtube saves its HD videos in mp4 format, but this isn't really edit-friendly (especially with adobe premiere cs3 in mind). Can anyone suggest what I can do? I want my final video to maintain the original quality of the files I'm using, and I'm not really keen on downloading source files separately (e.g. with bittorrent, which I have no idea how it works). Much appreciated...

adode premiere does not support HD video format, so you need to convert them before editing.
best convert them in to avi ,which has better quality.
