A bar graph that I am analyzing for a science essay indicates the amount of time it takes for painkillers to dissolve in stomach acid and in distilled water. All of the painkillers dissolved quicker in stomach acid than in water, except aspirin whaspirin dissolve waterich took an equal amount of time. I can't understand why this is the case.
which pain medications were used, narcotics or nsaids? which brand of aspirin was used?
bayer aspirin dissolves the quickest. i left a generic aspirin tablet in an acid saspirin dissolve waterolution and the
tablet was still solid 12 hrs later. i don't remember enough from physical chemistry to
answer the question but i believe it has something to do with the whether the drug is an
acid or a base. check out this website:
